The weather is turning colder and that means the snow may soon be here. The groomers have been prepped and are ready to go. A class will be held for groomer training and any members that wish to be certified are encouraged to sign-up by calling Club President, Shawn Barry at 969-4705. The state requires Trail Groomers to now have a certification to be on the trails with the equipment.
The annual Christmas in Strafford raffle will be at the Grange on December 1st. As in years past, there will be items from local businesses to be given away. We will also be holding a canned/non-perishable food drive at our booth which will benefit local food pantries. Bring in an item and receive one free raffle ticket. Limit one free ticket per person. This year the NHSA will be having a raffle for a 2013 Polaris Indy 600 snowmobile with only 1000 tickets available for $20 each. Your chances to win are better than ever. Their drawing will be on December 18th of this year, so just in time for that fantastic Christmas gift you’ve been waiting for. In addition to that, we will have 2013 NH Fish and Wildlife calendars for sale. Professional full color photographs of NH wildlife, plus wildlife watching tips, handy hunting, fishing and snowmobiling dates as well. Lots of great things are happening, so don’t miss us at the Grange on December 1st!!
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, December 13th at 7:00PM at Nippo Lake Golf Club. Another date to remember is December 1st when the Northwood Crankpullers will be holding a snowmobile driver safety class. You can check their website for further details. There are many important events coming up in the new year so stay posted to see what’s happening with your local club.
We want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year!!
