Mother Nature…..I need a word with you!
Our snowy end to December and the cold start to the new year got our
season off to a good start. Unfortunately most of that snow melted away
with the high temps and rain of the January thaw. Hopefully by the time
you read this Winter will be back in full swing.
The trail re-route to Bow Lake via Fire Road 38 has been completed and
has been put to good use. Our groomers had been out multiple times and
the trails were in excellent shape especially for early season riding.
Please use caution when riding on frozen bodies of water> Know the
conditions BEFORE you ride. Please stay on the trail respect our
landowners and their property. Without them, we’d have nowhere to ride.
New trail maps have been printed and are available at all our local
power sports dealerships including Bickford’s Sports Center in Epsom,
St’ Hilaire Motorsports and Rochester Sports Center in Barrington, Dover
Marine in Dover plus Log Home Hardware in Nottingham. You can join the
club and register your sleds at these locations. Our Strafford Town
Office is also an OHRV agent. You can also pick up a new map trail-side
at Isinglass Store and Uncle George’s by the Dam. We’d like to take this
opportunity to thank our many map advertisers. (in no particular order)
