Fall is definitely here with all its spectacular color.  It won’t be long now before the snow is on the ground.  With that being the case, we need to get out there and clear the trails.  Anyone and everyone are welcome to help.  It is a fun time for families also, to get outside and enjoy the great fall weather and to see some of the town that you may not have seen before.  We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM at the Bow Lake Grange. You don’t need a lot of tools, most times just a pair of gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather.  But if you do have loppers, nippers or a chain saw, it wouldn’t hurt.

Good news!!  We have extended the deadline for early registration to win the $50 gift card.  Membership forms are in the mail so get them back soon.  Forms must be received before December 3rd when we will be drawing the winner at Christmas in Strafford.   Included with your membership form will be information on the dinner/dance and for the Ski-Doo BRP program.  SKI-Doo will donate $10 to our club for each form that is completed.  There is a correction from last months’ newsletter.  The BRP form must be completed  on-line in order to receive the donation.  This is a great way for the club to receive additional funding for grooming and equipment.  So get on-line and fill out the form and get those registrations back early so that your name can be entered to get that gift certificate!!  You can also register at the Rochester Sports Center Open House.   Located in Barrington on Rt. 125, the event is on the weekend of November 26th & 27th.   Or sign up at our booth in the grange on December 3rd.

We once again have Swamp Stomper merchandise available for sale.  Hooded  Pullover Sweatshirts, Long Sleeve T’s and Knit Caps all make great holiday gifts.  Hurry, supplies of on-hand stock are limited.  We are putting together a special order for all others by December 5th.  Guaranteed for Christmas delivery.  The NHSA is also doing another snowmobile raffle this year for a 2012 Artic Cat F1100 Sno Pro 50th Anniversary Snowmobile.  Contact Club President Shawn Barry for more info regarding these items.

On November 12th we are holding a Landowner Appreciation Dinner/Dance at Nippo Lake Golf Club.  Landowners will receive a free invitation in the mail and tickets are available for all others wishing to attend.    The tickets will be $25.00 each and will include appetizers, buffet of Chicken Broccoli Alfredo over Penne , Meat Lasagna, side dishes and dessert.  Please contact committee members Don Clifford or Mike Harris for tickets by November 4th.  We will also be taking part in Christmas in Strafford again this year on Saturday, December 3rd at the Bow Lake Grange.  Be sure to stop in and see us.  We will have many spectacular raffle prizes for you to win.  Plus you can see what the club is all about.
