We held our first meeting of the season in September, with a great turnout. There are lots of new things happening this year that the Club was busy finalizing over the summer. The first of which were gates for the Pig Lane and Bedford property trails. We were also approved for gates on the conservation land but still need to coordinate where these will be placed. The trail work has begun and if you are interested in helping out, give Kerry Omand a call to get the times and dates. Help is always appreciated, plus it gives you the chance to see the trails and the work involved in maintaining them.

The club has made donations to several organizations already this season. The first is to the Evans Mountain Project with a $1000.00 donation. The second is to the Cody Cleveland Memorial fund which is holding a golf tournament at The Oaks Golf Club in Somersworth. A donation of $100.00 was presented.

The membership forms will be in the mail in late October, early November, so be sure to keep an eye out for these and mail them back in as soon as possible. Membership forms will also be available at Bickfords in Epsom, Rochester Sports Center in Barrington and Morrison’s in Dover, by mid October. Once the season starts, they will be available at local area merchants.

The next club meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 14th at 7:00PM at Nippo Lake Golf Club. Please plan to join us and also enjoy some of the great food items available at the restaurant. We will start our Social Nights in October also. The first will be at Nippo Lake Golf Club on Thursday, October 28th to get us started for the season. It will be at 7:00PM. The Social Nights may change venues depending on the weather and trail conditions throughout the year, so stay tuned for updates on the website or by contacting a club officer for details
