The club held its first meeting in September. We discussed the purchase of a used Scandic for the club. This purchase will allow the club to cover the grooming of trails in a more efficient manner. Trail repairs and fall grooming has begun so if anyone is interested in helping out, we will be meeting on Sunday mornings at the Grange.

Membership forms will be mailed out shortly and we ask that you make an effort to return them by December 3rd. All memberships received by December 3rd will be entered into a drawing to win a $50.00 gift certificate to one of the local sports retailers.

On November 12th we are holding a Landowner Appreciation Dinner/Dance at Nippo Lake Golf Club. Landowners and all members are invited to attend. Details are still being worked out, so we will have additional information on the website and in the November newsletter.

We are still accepting nominations for the Treasurer position. You need not have accounting experience, just a commitment to the position, we will mentor you in learning the job. We encourage anyone, students included, that is interested in community clubs and service to please contact any of the club officers to apply.

The next club meeting is on Thursday, October 13th at 7:00PM at Nippo Lake Golf Club. We encourage you to attend.
