The club has been busy doing our initial trail work these past few weeks. Some of the bridges that were moved by the spring storms were put back into place. The newly designated Park-n-Ride at the bottom of Mile Hill on Hydrant Road is approved. Trail work will continue throughout the fall season until all the trails have been cleared.
Several members of the club attended the breakfast at the Grange Hall on Saturday, October 2nd that benefited the Bear Paw- Evans Mountain Project. There appeared to be a great community turnout and the food prepared by Chef Randy Brisson was excellent. The benefit rose over $21,000. A great boost to the Conservation Committees goal to secure the lands that we use for our trail system. We are grateful for the partnership we share with this group and the efforts they put in to protect these areas for all to enjoy.
The NHSA is having a Super Raffle to benefit the Association and affiliated clubs.
